is dedicated to the needs in the area of teaching and learning of all the people connected with formal academical education and special education and special preparation for the third level, independently from the study length, accredited qualification, and also postgradual studies, as well as institutions and organisation which provide and support this kind of education and special preparation.
Special goals of the Erasmus Program:
- It supports the creation of a European Higher Education Area through increased mobility.
- It emphasizes student and staff mobility and European co-operation involving higher education institutions in the knowledge-based economy.
Operating goals of Erasmus Program:
- to improve the quality of student mobility and educationists in the whole Europe in a way that in the frame of the Erasmus program and programs which are preceding it, it would contribute to the achievement of individual participants of student mobility until the year 2011
- to improve quality of multilateral cooperation among the academical institutions in Europe
- to increase standard of transparency and conformity among the qualifications acquired in Europe in the frame of academical education and higher special education
- to improve cooperation quality among the academical institutions and enterprises
- to support development of innovative approaches in the special education and the preparation on the third level, together with their transfer, i.e. from one participating country to the others
- to support the expansion of innovative content, services, pedagogical theories and procedures of lifelong education with the maintenance of ICT.
