COVID-19 Information

The academic year at CU starts on 20.9.2021. All residences, cantine, library and other facilities and services remain accessible and open regarding the current circumstances. Academic integrity and continuity remain a priority. We take standards for hygiene and cleanliness very seriously and are taking steps to ensure the safety of our students, staff and visiters.

Before you come to the CU, please read carefully the following information:

    Registration for eHranica

As of 19 July, new Decree 231 is in force, which regulate the regime at the border and the obligation of home isolation. They also impose an obligation on persons over 12 years of age to register in the eHranica form. The rules on entry into Slovakia and subsequent home isolation are differentiated according to the age of the person and on the basis of other conditions.

What can you expect when you register for eHranica?

After filling in the basic details, we will want to find out if you have already had your vaccinations. You will have three options to choose from:

    • I am fully vaccinated and have proof of this
      • you complete a simple registration and do not have to enter home isolation
      • registration is valid for 6 months
    • I am not a vaccinated person
      • you continue to fill in the form
      • if you qualify for the exemptions from compulsory home isolation, you do not have to go to home isolation
      • if you do not qualify for an exemption, you must undergo compulsory home isolation

If the isolation is asymptomatic, the isolation will end on day 14 or upon receipt of a negative RT-PCR test result for COVID-19, which can be performed no earlier than the fifth day of isolation.
