The academic year at CU starts on 21.9.2020. All residences, cantine, library and other facilities and services remain accessible and open regarding the current circumstances. Academic integrity and continuity remain a priority. We take standards for hygiene and cleanliness very seriously and are taking steps to ensure the safety of our students, staff and visiters.

Before you come to the CU, please read carefully the following information:

Travelling to Slovakia from a low risk country

People coming from low risky countries do not have to pass home isolation or the COVID-19 test.

Travelling to Slovakia from risk country

Have you visited a country considered not safe during the previous 14 days? After arriving to the Slovak Republic:

(1) you must register;

(2) you must remain in home isolation (a hotel or an accommodation facility) until you receive the negative RT-PCR test for COVID-19;

(3) you must immediately report by phone or email to the locally competent Regional Office of Public Health (Liptovský Mikuláš, Poprad, Košice) and take the COVID-19 test (place and date of testing will be determined by Regional Office of Public Health). COVID-19 testing is done no earlier than on the fifth day of home isolation, so be prepared to stay quarantined for at least one week (if everything goes smoothly and the test is negative).

Liptovský Mikuláš (for Ružomberok): phone +421 903 550 420;email

Poprad (for Poprad, Levoča): phone +421 52 41 807 38, +421 41 807 52; email,

(4) if the test result is negative, the domestic isolation ends. If the test result is positive, the isolation continues and the instructions of the competent Regional Office of Public Health must be followed.

We draw attention to the fact that the list of safe countries could change. FIND CURRENT INFORMATION on:
