Catholic University in Ružomberok, Faculty of Theology in Košice in cooperation with the Archbishop′s Office in Košice invites you to a presentation of book by Mons. doc. ThDr. Marián Čižmár, PhD. entitled "Cardinal Jozef Tomko - Life in the Gospel′s Service". The presentation of the book will take place on May 3rd, 2018 at 10:00am in the Faculty of Theology Aula in Košice. The main guest on the presentation will be his Eminence Jozef Cardinal Tomko.
Pastoral Challenges of the Family in the XXI century
The Faculty of Theology in Košice organized on 19th March 2018 an international scientific conference “The Pastoral Challenges of the Family in the XXI Century”. The main guest of the conference was Péter Cardinal Erdő, Archbishop of Eszterghom-Budapest and Primate of Hungary. He focused in his lecture on the pastoral challenges associated with present family, as well as some of the phenomena of the present age encountered by the family.

A prayer meeting for murdered journalist
The Academic Community of Catholic University in Ruzomberok (CU) expresses sincere condolences to all the relatives and friends of the murdered journalist Ján Kuciak and his girlfriend Martina Kušnírová. "We are also preparing future journalists at our university, and that is why the violent death of these young people has deeply affected us," said Rector CU prof. ThDr. Jozef Jarab. At the initiative of CU students, a short prayer meeting will take place on Wednesday, February, 28th, at 12:05 at statute of St. John Paul II in front of the building of the Faculty of Education. We invite everyone to join us in prayer for the two deceased.
