Blended Intensive Programmes (BIP)
Erasmus+ KA131 – Learn, Connect, Experience Europe
Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs) offer a unique opportunity for students and staff to participate in innovative short-term international learning experiences. Delivered jointly by partner universities across Europe, BIPs combine physical mobility with virtual collaboration, creating a dynamic and flexible learning format.
Why Join a BIP?
- study or train in an international, multicultural environment,
- engage in innovative topics and teaching methods not typically part of regular curricula,
- collaborate with peers and experts from multiple countries,
- gain academic credits or professional development experience.
Programme Highlights
- cooperation between at least three universities from three different countries,
- short-term physical mobility (minimum of 5 days) combined with online teamwork,
- opportunity to learn from external professionals and practitioners,
- strong focus on practical skills, innovation, and transnational perspectives.
Funding and Recognition
- participants do not pay participation fees,
- mobility grants are provided by the sending institution,
- students receive 3 ECTS credits upon successful completion,
- staff participate under Erasmus+ staff mobility for training.
Each faculty or unit at the Catholic University in Ružomberok (CU) has a designated contact person for each BIP.
