The Baltic University Programme

The Baltic University Programme is one of the largest university networks in Europe, bringing together more than 90 universities from the Baltic Sea region, including Slovakia.

The programme focuses on promoting education, research, and international cooperation in areas such as sustainable development, environmental protection, climate change, and democratic society.

    We Are Members of BUP

Our university is an active member of this international network, which means that our students and staff can participate free of charge in all offered activities, courses, challenges, and research projects.

    Membership provides:

    • Access to international trainings, workshops, and courses

    • Participation in summer schools and research symposia

    • Opportunities for collaboration with other universities in the Baltic Sea region

Komu je určený a čo ponúka

The Baltic University Programme is designed for undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students, as well as for educators and researchers interested in topics such as sustainable development, environmental protection, climate change, and democratic society. Academic institutions aiming to develop international cooperation in the Baltic Sea region can also benefit from the programme.

The programme organizes a variety of activities each year, including summer schools, student conferences, online courses, research stays, doctoral mobility, professional seminars for educators, and unique projects such as Sails of Change – a research and educational expedition aboard a sailing vessel. These activities foster knowledge exchange, international collaboration, and the development of practical skills among participants from different countries.
