Faculty of Health strengthens International Cooperation Through Academic Mobility

International cooperation remains a long‑term priority of the Catholic University in Ružomberok, and the Faculty of Health plays a key role in advancing these activities.
Within the Erasmus+ programme, the faculty regularly welcomes visiting lecturers and experts from related fields who teach, deliver workshops, and provide training for both students and staff. At the same time, the faculty actively sends its own academic specialists to partner institutions abroad for teaching and professional development.
The largest share of international exchange is facilitated by the Department of Physiotherapy and the Department of Nursing, which have long been the faculty’s most active units in the area of mobility. In addition to teaching mobilities, the faculty also hosts professionals from clinical practice and professional organisations, offering students up‑to‑date insights and innovative approaches within healthcare disciplines.
International partners consistently highlight the high quality of cooperation with the Faculty of Health. Following her recent mobility at the university, Dr Grażyna Puto from the Jagiellonian University Medical College (Poland) shared her appreciation, noting:
“I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the opportunity to participate in the Erasmus+ mobility at the Department of Nursing. I am extremely grateful for the friendly and collaborative atmosphere. Your commitment, openness, and support significantly contributed to the high professional standard and excellent organisation of the entire visit. Taking part in the mobility programme has been an invaluable experience that will undoubtedly influence my further professional development.”
Beyond KA131 mobilities, the Catholic University is also actively engaged in KA171 initiatives and additional Erasmus+ project activities that foster internationalisation and enhance academic quality across the institution.
