International EU Careers Ambassador Training in Luxembourg
From October 1–4, 2026, Alžbeta Obrinová, a student at the Catholic University in Ružomberok, participated in the international EU Careers Ambassador training in Luxembourg. The training focused on presenting internship and career opportunities within European Union institutions and on preparing ambassadors to further promote these opportunities to students at their respective universities.
During the training, participants had the opportunity to learn more about how European institutions function, career opportunities within the EU, and how young people can get involved in European affairs. The program included presentations, hands-on activities, discussions, and meetings with people who have experience working in European institutions. One of the most interesting highlights of the program was a visit to the European Parliament, where participants had the opportunity to tour the premises of one of the European Union’s most important institutions and gain a deeper understanding of how it operates.
The training was not limited to the professional program. Participants also had the chance to explore Luxembourg, stroll through its streets, soak up its atmosphere, and see a city that is one of the major seats of European institutions. In addition to gaining new knowledge, the stay offered a wealth of experiences, new connections, and the opportunity to meet people from various European countries.
