The bachelor study program in “Physiotherapy” is oriented on student’s preparation knowing the basic investigating and treatment procedures and methods in physiotherapy, balneology and treatment rehabilitation. The graduate is able to perform the basic functional diagnostics and rehabilitation program from perspective of labor rehabilitation. The graduate knows basic indications, contraindications and applications of individual massage technique types and types of relaxation and mobilization practices. The graduate performphysiotherapeutical exercises, basic physiatric and balneological methods, hydrotherapy, ergotherapy, electrotherapy, kinesiology.

The graduate is able to perform highly professional activities within preventive, treatment and rehabilitation care at inpatient and outpatient departments of rehabilitation institutions, sanatories, at workplaces of treatment physical education, in modern rehabilitation/ recreation facilities as wellness/fitness, which offer preventive and treatment medical care or protection and support of health.
