The international seminar took place from 25 July to 3 August 2024 in the historic manor house of the Collegium of Anton Neuwirth in Ivanka pri Dunaji and in the north of Slovakia, in Spišská kapitula. Twenty-two selected participants from Europe (Slovakia, Poland, Hungary as well as England and Sweden were represented) and America had the opportunity to discuss key issues that resonate in today's society during the lectures. "I won't lie if I say that attending the FSS was the best investment of my holiday time. Being part of intellectual debates that look at issues broadly, not just from one side, was really refreshing. I am grateful that I was able to get to know such great and inspiring people," concluded the PhD student.

The FSS summer school is for students and young professionals who want to grow not only intellectually but also spiritually, are willing to build new friendships and search for the truth. The seminar also includes sightseeing trips around Slovakia and cultural evenings. The history of the FSS dates back to 1992, with the first two years held in Liechtenstein at the International Academy of Philosophy. The organisation of the seminar subsequently moved to Krakow and since 2001 the FSS has been regularly held in Slovakia.

Registration for the next FSS, organized by the Collegium of Anton Neuwirth and the Washington-based Faith and Reason Institute, is now open. More information on admission requirements can be found at https://kolegium.org/free-society-seminar/. The application deadline for European students is May 15, 2025.
