In the second half of June, a nationwide round of competition called Hviezdoslavov Kubín in the artistic recitation of poetry and prose, in the creation of recitation collectives and poetry theaters of children, youth and adults took place in Dolny Kubín. It is the oldest and most prestigious competition of its kind organized by the National Education Center. In the fifth category of prose recital, adult reciters, Iveta Kloptová, our student of the doctoral program in systematic philosophy, took the excellent third place. In the past, Iveta was also involved in acting and literary work. She has been reciting since 2017, when she managed to win the nationwide competition. As Iveta says, what interests her about this activity is that she can "explore the relationship between language and non-linguistic reality from the perspective of a person other than mine."
