Professor Labudová awarded by the Liverpool University Press Reviewer Rewards
Our associate professor PaedDr. Katarína Labudová, PhD. from the Department of English Language and Literature, Faculty of Arts and Letters, received an award from the well-known publishing house Liverpool University Press (LUP), which with its 125-year history is the third oldest university publishing house in England (after Oxford University Press and Cambridge University Press).
Katarína Labudová has been awarded the Liverpool University Press Reviewer Rewards 2023 in recognition of her many years of high quality peer reviewing for the British Journal of Canadian Studies.
As the publishers themselves state: "Good peer-review is essential to uphold the quality of an academic journal, and as academics often receive no professional credit for submitting peer-reviews, it is important to recognise their valuable contribution. Carefully selected by our journal editors, these individuals have provided an exceptional service to their disciplines by contributing timely, rigorous and thoughtful peer reviews to some of the leading publications in their fields in 2023."
We are, of course, delighted about this award and we heartily congratulate the associate professor!
