The study of Chemistry at the Faculty of Education has been running since 2004, originally it was covered by the Department of Biology and Chemistry.

Study and scientific activities at the Department of Chemistry and Physics are provided by experienced teachers. A significant part of the study consists of professional laboratory practice, during which students participate in chemical experiments that deepen their theoretical knowledge.

The Department of Chemistry and Physics implements the study program Chemistry Teaching in combination at the bachelor level.

Laboratories and special classrooms

The Department of Chemistry and Physics has a scientific laboratory of electroanalytical methods and a laboratory that serves the purpose of education of bachelor students. The science laboratory is equipped with 2 universal electrochemical instruments with computer configurations, a scanner and two printers. NOVA software for evaluation of electrochemical measurements is a part of the laboratory.
