The university education at the Faculty of Education is based on the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS), which guarantees the compatibility with the leading educational institutions and therefore the student mobility is possible among the universities in the whole European Union. The Faculty of Education offers students the education at all stages to get a bachelor’s degree, a master’s degree and a doctorate (PhD). At the every stage of education a student has the opportunity to choose the subjects within the study programmes according to his or her interest from selected department and other departments too. The students can participate actively in creating their learning plan and optimum clarification of its content to proceed at their own pace. According to the evaluation of the Academic Ranking and Rating Agency (ARRA), it was confirmed that from among all the faculties of education in Slovakia, our faculty is the third best faculty in Slovakia. Statistics of the Central Office of Labour, Social Affairs and Family and statistics of The Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic show that graduates of our faculty are successful to enter the labour market. The Faculty of Education is sought after among the foreign students, especially from Ukraine, Poland, Italy and the Czech Republic.
