Pedagogy has been studied at the Faculty of Education since 2000.

Study and scientific activities are carried out by both teaching staff and practitioners at the Department of Pedagogy and Special Pedagogy. A significant part of the department's studies is focused on postgraduate education in the field of extensive study of Special Pedagogy and supplementary pedagogical study. Part of the study is practice oriented on student competencies, training and training of professional skills.

The students of the department are prepared as teaching assistants and educators as well as special educators.
