    Koniec (dátum, čas):2. 3. 2026, 12:00
Dear members of the KU academic community, friends, and supporters,
In 2026, the Catholic University in Ružomberok will once again host an Erasmus Blended Intensive Programme (BIP). From 13 to 17 April 2026, the Department of Fine Arts of the Faculty of Education is preparing an international colloquium of educators and artists, organized in collaboration with specialists in the fields of art theory and the philosophy of art in Ružomberok.

The central theme of the event is nature as a laboratory of contemporary art—a space for creation, reflection, and the shared exploration of new forms of artistic and pedagogical interpretation.

The programme will provide opportunities for individual artistic work, collective reflection, and mutual presentations by artists and educators from several partner universities abroad. It is grounded in the concept of nature as a partner, a source, and a medium—an environment in which new articulations emerge at the intersection of art, pedagogy, and ecology.

Workshops and discussions held directly in the Liptov natural landscape will offer a setting where the environment, contemporary artistic strategies, and pedagogical experience naturally converge. An online meeting of participants will also form part of the programme, enabling shared preparation, the exchange of working methods, and the development of initial creative concepts ahead of the in‑person sessions.
The concluding exhibitions and opening events will present to the public the works, concepts, and ideas developed throughout the colloquium. We warmly invite you to join us.
