    Awarded teachers received a commemorative letter from the mayor of Ružomberok on the occasion of Teachers' Day.

    The Mayor of Ružomberok, JUDr. Ľubomír Kubáň, on March 28, honored 24 prominent educators who work in all types of schools in the city of Ružomberok. The awards ceremony for educators is held every year on the occasion of Teachers' Day, which is commemorated on the birthday of the educator, philosopher, writer and theologian Ján Amos Comenius.

    Among the educators who received a commemorative letter from the mayor for their outstanding achievements in the field of the educational process were university educators from the Catholic University in Ružomberok, doc. PhDr. Markéta Rusnáková, PhD., Vice-Rector of the CU, prof. Dr. Phil. fac. theol. Peter Volek, Head of the Department of Philosophy, Faculty of Philosophy, CU, prof. MUDr. Anna Lesňáková, PhD., Professor of the Faculty of Philosophy, CU and doc. PhDr. Angela Almášiová, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy, CU.
