The Chair of the Academic Senate of the Catholic University in Ružomberok, in accordance with Section 10(5) of Act No. 131/2002 Coll. on Higher Education Institutions and pursuant to the internal regulation Principles for the Election of a Candidate for Rector and the Acceptance of a Proposal for the Dismissal of the Rector of the Catholic University in Ružomberok, hereby announces the repeated election of a candidate for Rector of the Catholic University in Ružomberok for the term of office 2026 to 2030.

Nominations for candidates for the position of Rector shall be submitted in a sealed envelope marked as “Nomination of a Candidate for Rector” and addressed to the Chair of the Academic Senate of the Catholic University in Ružomberok. Nominations may be delivered in person to the Registry, Records Management and Archives Department of the Catholic University in Ružomberok (Rectorate Mailroom of the Catholic University, Hrabovská cesta 1A, Ružomberok, 1st floor, office no. 0.01) or sent by mail to the address: Academic Senate of the Catholic University, Hrabovská cesta 1A, 034 01 Ružomberok, within the period beginning on the day following the announcement of the election of the Rector of the Catholic University and ending no later than 7 September 2026.

The public hearing of candidates and the election of the candidate for Rector will take place on:
