Another informal meeting: Discussion on the value of cultural differences

The sixth informal meeting with experts took place at the CU University Library, continuing a series of events dedicated to various topics in the field of cultural diversity, international cooperation, and education. Since its founding, our university has regularly welcomed foreign guests and students who come to share their professional experiences, skills, and personal stories.

We particularly appreciate that, despite the extensive range of events at CU, our colleagues and students took the time to attend this meeting. It is their interest, openness, and willingness to be part of the dialogue that contribute to building a vibrant academic community.

The guest of the event was William Patrick Nnyombi Senyonga, a British-Ugandan educator with more than thirty years of experience. His long career in education in the United Kingdom and the multicultural environment in which he grew up enable him to bring a unique and inspiring perspective on language, identity, and intercultural communication.

His insights and experience are valuable to our university, especially given our active involvement in the Erasmus+ program, international mobility, and broader efforts to promote intercultural understanding.

The event, organized by the Department of International Relations and Mobility CU, was held in the spirit of open discussion and mutual learning.
