Catholic University to Host Its Second Erasmus+ BIP This Semester
The Catholic University in Ružomberok continues to expand its international education activities through the Erasmus+ programme. From 23 to 26 November 2026, the Department of Music at the Faculty of Education, in cooperation with the University’s Foreign Relations and Mobility Office, will host a Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) entitled Cross-Cultural Perspectives in Music Performance.
The programme will bring together students and academic staff from partner universities in an international setting focused on music performance, artistic collaboration and the exchange of professional expertise. Through intensive workshops, specialised activities and joint performances, participants will have the opportunity to develop their performance skills while exploring different artistic traditions and approaches to music education.
The BIP will also help students strengthen their communication skills in an international environment, engage with professional feedback and gain valuable experience in public performance. In this way, the programme combines artistic development with competencies relevant to their future academic and professional careers.
Students who successfully complete the programme will receive 3 ECTS credits. For participating academic staff, the BIP will provide opportunities to exchange good practices, strengthen existing partnerships and explore new possibilities for inter-university cooperation.
By organising its second BIP within a single semester, the Catholic University in Ružomberok further demonstrates its active engagement in Erasmus+ and its commitment to expanding international opportunities for both students and staff.
