This year, the Catholic University of Ružomberok celebrates its 25th anniversary. On that occasion, it will organize the main celebrations of its anniversary on September 24 and 25. The celebrations will be held in Ružomberok, at the university's main headquarters.

The celebrations will include an International Conference entitled "The Role of Catholic Schools in Education and Research", which will take place in the John Paul II Auditorium on September 24. The conference will include lectures by prominent figures from the field of Catholic education in the international and domestic environment. At the end of the conference, there will be a round table and a presentation of the history of individual faculties.

The evening of September 24 will be dedicated to university artists, teachers and students, who will perform the Alma Mater Resonat concert in the Ružomberok Synagogue.

The following day, September 25, will begin with the Veni Sancte solemn mass, with which the university will thank for the achievements and ask God for the future. The mass will also be the opening of the academic year.

A ceremonial assembly of the academic community and a student party will follow.

The celebrations will also include the launch of the bilingual publication "25 years of the Catholic University in Ružomberok".
