Projects
03KU-4/2021 - project duration 2021 - 2023. Main researcher: Mgr. Peter Kutiš, PhD., Main researcher workplace: Faculty of Health CU in Ružomberok. Accelerated forms of rehabilitation procedures after surgical interventions (co-researcher) - in solution. The project aims to develop and publish a textbook with modern knowledge in the field of rehabilitation after surgery, which would serve as a recommended teaching materials for the teaching faculties of health in physiotherapy and nursing with a nationwide scope. It is a development of a textbook in Slovak language, which will offer an alternative of new procedures in physiotherapy and nursing, which reflect the current need for practice as well as the absence of new literature for the professional.
015KU-4/2019 - project duration 2019 - 2021. Principal investigator PhDr. Lukáš Kober, PhD., MPH, main research workplace: Faculty of Health CU in Ružomberok. The use of barrier techniques in the prevention and control of infections in nursing care (project leader) - in the solution. The aim of the project is to create and publish a textbook on the prevention and control of the spread of infections in hospital and prenatal care through barrier treatment methods. The elaborated textbook will serve as nurses and other healthcare workers as the recommended teaching text for teaching at faculties of healthcare with a national competence.
034KU-4/2013 - project solution period 2013 - 2016. Principal investigator doc. PhDr. Mgr. Vladimír Littva, PhD., MPH, main research workplace: Faculty of Health CU in Ružomberok. Satisfying the spiritual needs of dying patients from the point of view of healthcare workers from the point of view of practice (co-investigator) - completed. The project aims to develop and issue a monograph that would serve as a recommended teaching material for health professionals nation-wide, and which shows the importance of meeting spiritual needs of dying patients in relation to the conservation value of human life until the end. It would be the first monograph of its kind so far as the medical staff was prepared and published a monograph so conceived.
