Abstract
In this series of lectures I wish to lay out multiple reasons why, today, Kierkegaard's psychological philosophy is more relevant than ever. After a detailed analysis of the three stage theory of human existence, I will argue that the problems and limitations of every stage (including the religious one) pertain to the most serious challenges we currently face vis-à-vis personal wellbeing, human interaction, and spirituality. Amongst the relevant subjects, I would mention hedonism, narcissism, bourgeois ethics, violence, collectivism, and religious fanaticism. At the end of these lectures, one should expect a better, deeper, and timely understanding of the way in which Kierkegaard's thought throws a much-needed critical light on the way in which we relate to ourselves, each other, and the divine.
