Abstrakt/ Abstract: The text deals with the principles that are key to the musical education of preschool and early school children. In defining the principles, the author is based on the laws of folk art in Slovak folk music culture and on the music-pedagogical principles of Carl Orff based on the musical manifestations of natural cultures.
