    Abstrakt/Abstract: The article deals with the role that religious (biblical) elements found in advertising play in today's society and how they influence human thinking in the era of secularization. Since young people are especially active in the online space these days and are among the daily media consumers, the question arises whether advertising is a potential means of spreading the faith or, on the contrary, the richness of the Christian faith is only used by advertising. We will present the individual functions and the use of some Christian motifs in advertising, in order to subsequently examine several interpretations of the "Creation of Adam" scene from the fresco by Michelangelo Buonarroti in advertising.
