    Abstrakt/ Abstract: The topic of the paper is to present terminological definitions and research findings for theory and practice in an individual with multiple disabilities through the support of social and communication competencies using therapeutic concepts. The area of social and communication skills is the most problematic area in the expression of an individual with multiple disabilities, and both areas interfere with his/her life competencies. The aim of the paper is to present research findings in the field and compare them with the theoretical platform.
