Abstract: The paper focuses on one of the options for preparing students in the Special pedagogy study program for their future profession as a special educator, specifically through the creation and use of multi-purpose didactic aids made from natural material. These aids are designed for pupils with mental disabilities and represent an innovative approach to the educational process. The contribution also lists the limitations and challenges that may occur during creation of didactic aids using natural material.
