Abstrakt/ Abstract: The aim of the article is to approach the doctrine of the Holy Trinity in the theological concept of the Swiss theologian Hans Urs von Balthasar. First, we approach the sources of inspiration for his theology. We analyze the analogy of being, transcendentals, the relationship between reason and faith. Then we reflect on theological aesthetics, the relationship of God as good to human freedom, and the relationship between God and truth. The trinitological concept of Hans Urs von Balthasar is still relevant not only for theology, but also for Christian philosophy.
