Abstrakt/ Abstract: In the course of requesting an expert opinion, law enforcement bodies must deal with their formal and material side. In the case of the submission of a request for the elaboration of the expert testimony with absences, there is an objectively threat of delay in the proceedings, which also negatively affects the quantity and quality of evidence. The article discusses the importance of evaluating requests submitted for criminal and expert examination as well as suggestions for corrective measures.
