Abstract: This article deals with the assessment of patients’ needs in palliative care in a haemato-oncology clinic. The research aimed to use a standardized PNAP questionnaire (Patients’ Needs Assessment in Palliative Care) to determine the crucial needs of patients in haematology and oncology clinics, and also to reveal areas where patients might suffer from a lack of care. The research identifies specific underserved areas and suggests actions and proposals to address them. Furthermore, the paper concludes with a comparison of selected patient needs between wards to detect whether a ward provides a lower quality of end-of-life care.
