Abstrakt/ Abstract: In the paper, we focus on the cooperation of the pedagogical assistant with teachers in solving problems in the educational process in working with pupils with special educational needs. We were interested in the involvement of the teaching assistant in solving problems, from the aspect of his competencies. The aim of the research was to determine the participation and experience of a pedagogical assistant with problem solving in the school environment in primary and lower secondary education.
