Abstrakt/ Abstract: There are numerous changes happening in current society, however it is difficult to determine which of these changes are more significant and influential than others. One of the views on this problematic suggests that between there are technological changes included in the most important factors when summarizing the condition of the societal world of today. The Industry 4.0 is precisely the study of these type of changes, which reviews the latest and the most actual ongoing innovations and milestones in this field. There are also various types of technologies themselves, which split the Industry 4.0 into different variations of this concept. That is why one of the methods of division of Industry 4.0 is an areal differentiation based on the specific industry which is affected by the concept. Several research and articles study and analyse the Industry 4.0 in the construction industry, which became a background for the formation of new field of study with the related term that was put to use. It is so-called Construction 4.0 and this concept is comprised of innovations and technologies used in this industry, which is one of the largest and the most influential in the economy. There are constant changes and new trends occurring in Construction 4.0, which makes it a suitable representant of the Industry 4.0 topic. Researching and exploring this subject is vital as the construction industry grows and in certain economies there is expected increase of more than 50% in usage of new technologies in this industry by 2025.
