Abstrakt/ Abstract: The article focuses on the artistic interpretation of Dolný Kubín and its immediate surroundings by an important representative of the expressionist position of Slovak modernism – Arnold Weisz-Kubínčan. Through his work, he demonstrated his unique relationship with the region to which he immigrated as a child.
