Abstrakt/ Abstract: Art itself is not only an aesthetic activity, but an expression of experience, thought, feeling, opinion... It is a means of communication where we do not need to know the language of the author and yet we can understand him very well. This communication channel, without the use of words, is also used by art therapy in its expressive and receptive form. Either as a whole or in its individual parts, where we can involve the whole person. Physically, mentally and spiritually. In conclusion, we come to the realization that the passive perception of art is not a passive process at all.

Kľúčové slová/ Keywords: Perception of art. Communication of art. Expressive and receptive art therapy. Activity in passivity.
