Abstrakt/ Abstract: The safety of the school environment is a key factor in ensuring quality education and the protection of both pupils and all school staff. This paper focuses on the analysis of foreign experiences in the field of improving security in schools, with the aim of identifying good practices and their subsequent possible application. The aim of the paper is to provide an overview of effective measures that can serve as inspiration for the development of safety policies in Slovak schools, with an emphasis on adapting best practices to local conditions and needs.
