Abstrakt/ Abstract: The paper analyses the meanings, forms and various reasons and impulses for the work of selected personalities of visual and action art in Slovakia and the Czech Republic, such as Vladimír Kordoš, Marián Mudroch, but also, for example, the Czech author František Skála, or the well-known Slovak painter, thinker and art pedagogue Rudolf Fila.
