Abstrakt/ Abstract: Burnout syndrome is a psychological condition characterized by emotional exhaustion and a reduced ability to function at work. Educators in helping professions are a group at risk, as are other professions working with people. Especially during the final exam period, when there is a high volume of examinees, they tend to be exhausted, and there is reduced engagement, detachment from work, but also reduced work commitment and loss of motivation. Risk factors for burnout syndrome also tend to be high workload, long-term exposure to stress factors when working with students and the associated responsibility, work pressure, working hours, management style, gender, perceived stress and subjective well-being. Younger individuals, women and passionate educators with clinical practice are more at risk.
