Abstrakt/ Abstract: In 2004, philosophical manuscripts of the Piarists from their monastery from Brezno from the 18th century were found in the archives of the Roman Catholic parish in Brezno. They are the manuscripts of the Piarists: Severin of the Guardian Angel Nozdrovický (1712 – 1782), Matthew of St. Joseph Baričič (1728 – 1767), Martin of St. Urban Krúzi (1736 – 1801). This article will describe them, determine their authors, place and time of creation, and present interesting and original parts of them. For a better understanding of the contents of these manuscripts, a brief history of the Piarists in the world and in Hungary will be presented. Then the authors of the manuscripts themselves will be presented, and an analysis of these manuscripts will be briefly introduced. Sometimes some parts are compared with the opinions of other authors at the given time.
