Abstrakt/ Abstract: An irreplaceable role in the preparation of students in the field of Teacher Training for the 1st grade of Primary School at the University of Hradec Králové is played by pedagogical practice, which forms a comprehensive system throughout the entire study. In this paper, I focus on one of its forms – Block Practice (in the 3rd year of study), which takes place in the 1st grade of Primary School. Its aim is to participate in and observe the peculiarities of educational work in the 1st grade at the beginning of school attendance. The research deals with the issue of pupils entering the 1st grade of primary school in the Czech Republic. The aim of the research is to analyse the first school day (2020 – 2024) of pupils in the first grade of primary school (categorization of activities with the creation of a typology of models - scenarios of the first school day) and further to analyse the adaptation of the class in the first school week from the perspective of future teachers. The observed period is very important from the perspective of pupils and parents for the formation of an attitude towards school, for its adaptation and for the current educational process.
