Abstrakt/ Abstract: Sacred architecture is a special area of architectural creation. It creates a material-spatial framework for the implementation of religious worship. Although it tends to be a lasting expression, its material essence is subject to various interventions. They occurred throughout the entire time span of centuries of development. Interventions into older substances of sacred objects may have an external material increase, or they take place in their interior without being manifested externally. The article deals with interventions with external expression, specifically extensions and reconstructions from the mid-20th century to the present. It is a continuation of an article that reflected on completions and new buildings. This article is not a passportisation of interventions in a specific regional area. It illustrates given classifications with selected examples.
