Abstrakt/ Abstract: The aim of the paper is to present the theoretical foundations and research design of a dissertation project focused on the possibilities of using artificial intelligence (AI) within the Philosophy for Children (P4C) program. The paper explores how AI can support the development of critical, creative, and caring thinking in children while preserving the philosophical and ethical essence of the program. The content of the paper focuses on connecting the core principles of P4C with current trends in the educational use of artificial intelligence. It introduces a theoretical model of AI as a cognitive and didactic partner, which can contribute to the creation of stimulus (sensitivity) texts, methodological materials, and reflective questions for use within the philosophical community of inquiry. The research aims to determine the extent to which AI can contribute to the creation of materials that are not only linguistically and conceptually appropriate but also philosophically stimulating and supportive of reasoning in the spirit of Lipman’s tradition. The theoretical contribution of the work lies in examining the boundaries between human and artificial creativity in philosophical education. The expected outcome is the development of a framework for the responsible and creative use of AI in philosophical education, which may expand teachers’ possibilities in fostering thinking and dialogue in the spirit of the P4C program.
