Abstrakt/ Abstract: The study compares the activities of three state organizations supporting non-professional arts in the Czech Republic (NIPOS), Slovakia (NOC), and Slovenia (JSKD). The comparison focuses on amateur choir singing and its infrastructure, which, of the four categories examined, is limited to only one: national choir competitions and festivals.
