    Abstrakt/ Abstract:
    Východiská/ Background:
Time reduction and optimization of time in stroke management is one of the main attributes that has a significant impact on the permanent consequences of the disease.
Ciele/ Objectives: To perform a descriptive analysis of the management of acute stroke in 2025 in emergency medical service crews.
Materiál a metodika/ Material and methods: The sample consisted of 747 emergency medical service missions for acute stroke based on codes of typical crew activities in part of the year 2025 in the Bratislava region, obtained from Emergency Medical Dispatch Centre in Slovakia. Subsequently, critical thresholds for individual time variables were defined and descriptive analysis of these variables was performed.
Výsledky/ Results: The average response time was 10 minutes and 32 seconds (CV = 54,7%), the average on-scene time was 32 minutes and 32 seconds (CV= 33,7%), the average transport time was 13 minutes and 49 seconds (CV 83,3%), and the average total time was 56 minutes and 53 seconds (CV 30,4%)
Záver/ Conclusion: The management of acute stroke in the Bratislava region in the part of year 2025 indicates potential areas for improvement, particularly in response times and the need for process optimization to reduce on-scene time. A high variability in transport duration was also identified, suggesting the need for further analysis of factors influencing this parameter.
