Abstrakt/ Abstract: The paper focuses on the analysis and subsequent synthesis of international studies examining factors that influence individuals’ susceptibility to misinformation in the online environment. The selected open-access studies employ diverse methodological approaches. The aim of the paper is to identify common variables and behavioral patterns that contribute to the acceptance of false information while also highlighting the limitations of existing research frameworks. The analytical section compares demographic, psychological, and ideological factors of susceptibility, with an emphasis on discrimination ability and response biases. The findings served as a basis for defining key risks and designing the interdisciplinary research framework of the doctoral dissertation, including its methodology, research sample, and planned research process.
