Abstrakt/ Abstract: The paper deals with the social and ethical aspects of doctoral students' scientific activities. Doctoral students are primarily students who fulfill their study obligations. As part of their doctoral studies, they conduct research, must observe scientific research ethics, and treat respondents ethically. They publish and actively participate in conferences. Full-time doctoral students are also teachers who lead seminars and supervise the work of university students. Internal doctoral students fulfill their duties at their training workplaces, and external doctoral students as employees in practice. The author points out possible problems in these areas and at the same time highlights the necessity of well-being, communication and interpersonal skills, effective conflict resolution, stress management, and burnout prevention.
