Abstrakt/ Abstract: The aim of this paper is to map the needs, expectations, and obstacles perceived by secondary school students in relation to career counseling. The research is based on theoretical frameworks of career development, the theory of human-environment fit, and a client-centered approach. Through a questionnaire survey, we analyzed students' experiences, preferences, and key areas of support. Based on the findings, we formulate recommendations for schools and career counselors with the aim of increasing the availability and quality of career counseling in high schools.
