Abstrakt/ Abstract: The paper offers a brief outline of the upcoming dissertation in the field of systematic philosophy entitled The Doctrine of Divine Simplicity and Its Critique in Contemporary Philosophy of Religion. The author of the dissertation will defend the thesis that God is absolutely simple, a thesis that has been dominant in history, but has recently faced an onslaught of criticism. The topic will be approached from a realistic Aristotelian-Thomistic standpoint within the framework of philosophical (natural) theology and philosophy of religion. The aim of the dissertation will be to develop lines of argument in favor of the doctrine of Divine Simplicity and to seek answers to the objections of its contemporary opponents. The paper also includes a brief overview of the history of the doctrine of Divine Simplicity and the current state of the debate in this area, as well as an explanation of the authors' specific approach to this topic.
