Abstrakt/ Abstract: The rise of digital technologies is fundamentally changing the nature of higher education, opening up new opportunities for learning, research, and international collaboration, but also posing numerous moral and ethical challenges. The aim of this paper is to analyze these challenges from the perspective of academic integrity and the formation of values in the digital space. Special attention is paid to the interdisciplinary connection with theology, which provides an anthropological framework for understanding man as a being created in the image of God—that is, as a person with natural dignity, freedom, and responsibility. Theological reflection allows us to deepen our ethical understanding of digitalization not only as a technical phenomenon, but also as a spiritual and moral one that influences human relationships, communication, and the perception of truth. The paper proposes a framework for the ethically and theologically sustainable use of digital tools in higher education, with an emphasis on personal responsibility, transparency, and the value-based foundation of education.
