Abstrakt/ Abstract: The article focuses on the essence of the creation of women in various religious traditions with regard to their cultural, historical and religious aspects. It is divided into several parts, the first of which defines the concepts of religion, myth, and their division. The second part attempts to chronologically and historically define not only creation but also the position and role of women, starting from the prehistoric period, hunters, gatherers, farmers, through religions in ancient Mesopotamia and Egypt, and religions belonging to the Asian cultural area, to define the creation and position of women in the ancient world and in Islam. The aim is to compare how these individual religious cultures interpret the origin and role of women in the context of the act of creation and what significance they attribute to them within anthropology and social order, and on this basis to compare them with the creation of women in the Bible (in the book of Genesis). The article uses a descriptive, comparative and historical method. The result is a perspective that points not only to the common elements of the creation of woman, but also to the specific cultural contexts in which creation myths arose.
