Abstrakt/ Abstract: The article focuses on the personality and work of the contemporary Slovak composer Ľuboš Kubizna, who tries to bring the personality of a child performer closer to his work. He presents the collection At the Beginning of the Story, which is a beneficial contribution to the field of modern piano literature for children. In it, the author combines playfulness, natural musical logic and the characteristic features of his own pupils. The aim is to bring the composer's creative approach closer and point out its importance in the context of contemporary music pedagogy.
